Account Management

Can I change my username?

Yes! You can change your username once every 24 hours. This allows you to keep your profile fresh while preventing abuse. To change your username, visit your profile settings and update it there.

Note: After changing your username, you'll need to wait 24 hours before you can change it again.

I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

If you've forgotten your password, don't worry! Our support team is here to help. Simply reach out to us on our Discord server and we'll assist you with recovering your account.

Make sure to provide your username or email address so we can verify your account ownership.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, you can request account deletion by contacting our support team on Discord. We'll process your request promptly.

What happens to my data?

  • Your account and profile information will be permanently removed
  • Comments you've posted will remain by default to preserve conversation threads
  • If you'd like your comments removed as well, please let us know and we'll delete them upon request

Do I need to verify my email address?

No email verification is required! You can start using BeamLeaks immediately after creating your account. This allows you to quickly jump in and start browsing, downloading, and rating mods right away.

Profile Customization

What can I customize on my profile?

You can personalize your BeamLeaks profile by customizing:

  • Avatar: Upload a custom profile picture to represent yourself
  • Username: Change your display name (once every 24 hours)

These customization options help you create a unique identity within the BeamLeaks community!

What information is publicly visible on my profile?

Your public profile displays minimal information to respect your privacy:

  • Username: Your chosen display name
  • Avatar: Your profile picture
  • Badges: Any achievement badges you've earned (like OG badges)
  • Creation Date: The date you joined BeamLeaks

Other sensitive information such as your email address, download history, etc remain private.

Can I make my profile private?

Since BeamLeaks profiles only display minimal public information (username, avatar, and badges), there's currently no option to make your profile private. We believe in maintaining transparency within the community while protecting your privacy by only showing essential, non-sensitive information.

Badges & Recognition

What badges are available on BeamLeaks?

BeamLeaks features exclusive OG badges to recognize our early community members:

  • 🥇 OG Gold: Awarded to members #1-50 (the very first!)
  • 🥈 OG Silver: Awarded to members #51-100
  • 🥉 OG Bronze: Awarded to members #101-200

These prestigious badges are displayed proudly on your profile and show that you were among the first to join the BeamLeaks community. They're permanent and cannot be removed or transferred!

Limited Time: OG badges are only available to early members. Once all 200 spots are claimed, they'll never be available again!

How do I earn badges?

Currently, OG badges are the only badges available and are automatically awarded based on when you joined BeamLeaks. If you were among the first 200 members, you've already received your badge!

We may introduce additional badges and achievements in the future to recognize active community members, top contributors, and more. Stay tuned!
